I will never forget the feeling that came over me when I first opened my door that day. He was leaning up against my house. He looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. My breath was taken away and the world stopped for a moment. My head was silent and I was captivated. His soft spoken Texas accent was like butter to my ears. His sweet, warm smile melted me. I knew then I was a goner.

The first year of our relationship I was very sick. I was in and out of doctor's offices and struggling with my physical and mental health. I wanted to make a change but had a hard time getting started. In the winter of 2023 Ryan took me on a hike in the snow at Donut Falls at the beginning of my health journey. There were many times I wanted to give up or turn around but Ryan's encouragement kept me going. He kept cheering me on and we had a wonderful time in the mountains together. It is one of my favorite memories together.

That October he took me to our first Rock concert together. I fell in love with the energy there and we've been attending them ever since. I love seeing his playful spirit come out at shows.

In May of 2023 he took me to Texas to meet his family for the first time. We spent some time on his Grandfather's farm and ate dinner at the Big Texan. After that we made a road trip out to East Texas together to see momma Joy and Bobby. I felt so honored to meet everyone and felt welcomed by his family. He taught me how to believe in myself and love myself unconditionally.

Ryan continued to be my cheerleader as I battled my physical and mental health. By God's grace I was able to heal myself physically through exercise and being conscious of my health. For my Birthday we attended a Dierks Bentley concert. I had so much fun singing with him that night. We traveled to Denver with his momma and he took me to a beautiful botanical garden out there. We saw Pantera at USANA and went to our first Camping trip at Defa's Dude Ranch in the high Uintas. We developed a lovely group of friends around us and built our Utah community up. We had lots of Sushi together. We watched Harry Potter with our friends during the holidays. He bought me my first Diamond necklace for Christmas. We played Elden Ring with all his buddies in the basement and shared lots of laughs together.

At the beginning of the summer we took a trip to southern Utah with my family. We had a wonderful time paddleboarding together in the Saint George sun. He inspired me to attend school again and I graduated from MTECH with a certificate in Information Technology. We went to Breaking Benjamin and Staind in October. I love dancing around with him there.

In December of 2024 he proposed to me on a beautiful trip to Midway Utah. We spent the day together tubing and he held my hand as we went down the mountain. He did this because I always told him some of my favorite memories with him were us sledding and playing in the snow. We watched the sunset together in the mountains. I felt the presence of God as the stars came out. He took us to a delicious dinner at the Blue Boar Inn where we shared Steak and Fondue. To end the night he took me on a beautiful carriage ride. I told him I would love to get proposed to on horseback. I felt like such a princess! Every detail was so thoughtful and sweet. I am so happy to be marrying such a gentleman. The carriage stopped at a fireplace and he got down on one knee. I was overjoyed and said YES! I am so lucky to be marrying such a thoughtful gentleman. He is my best friend forever!
